It was clear that it was time to start planning a new album, even though 'Killection' had been released less than two months before. I thought the most boring thing we could do after 'Killection' would be another simple LORDI album. And I really liked the different styles of songwriting, recording and production on "Killection", but another boring idea would have been to do a second installment. Since "Killection" is a fictional compilation album from a fictional catalog that doesn't exist, I figured the only thing that could top that would be to record and release this fictional catalog. And by Halloween 2021, the fictional back catalog will no longer be fictional, but will actually exist..... at least for the most part. I originally wanted to release ten albums, but the label told me that was crazy. But seven is a number that seemed reasonable to them, hahahaha!" The newly released song "Believe Me" has its origins in the band's fictional disco era. Imagine if LORDI had played a classic disco song in the style of ABBA, KISS or BEE GEES in the late 70s when disco music was at its peak. A funny and entertaining idea that is now becoming a reality.
