The psychedelic rockers released their debut album in 2012 and have released 17 more studio albums to date, establishing a real presence on the scene. In 2021, the band looks back, to the past, to their beginnings. On "Teenage Gizzard" they present a collection of recordings from their early phase between 2010 and 2011, made before the release of their first album "12 Bar Bruise" and the signing of their first record deal. A total of ten tracks await you on "Teenage Gizzard" that they either self-distributed or didn't release at all during that time. It includes three early singles, two early B-sides, four tracks from the band's first unofficial EP "Angelsea" and one unreleased track. The track list can be found below. Tracks one to eight were recorded sometime in 2010 in Angelsea, Victoria, tracks nine and ten sometime in 2011 in Carlton, Victoria, Australia. The "Teenage Gizzard" sampler is now available on CD and vinyl. Fans of the record can choose from limited edition pink and yellow vinyl, limited edition yellow vinyl and limited edition yellow vinyl with pink splatters. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have gained cult status despite their still young career. The Australians' music has evolved from original surf and garage rock to psychedelic rock and a mixture of styles including progressive rock, folk, jazz, soul and metal. The seven-piece combo released an incredible 18 studio albums between 2010 and 2021, including five in 2017 alone, as well as five live albums, two EPs and one compilation. With "Teenage Gizzard," a rarities collection enters the catalog.
