"Time Machine" is a fascinating blend, divided into two discs, a studio and a live album, each over an hour long. A special feature is Joe Satriani's long-unreleased EP, which has only been released in small quantities. This album also features one of Joe's favorite songs, "All Alone," a beautiful rendition of Billie Holiday's "Left Alone." The live disc features great performances from throughout Satriani's career, including standout tracks "Always With Me, Always With You" and "Big Bad Moon".
