Heaven Shall Burn: Of Truth & Sacrifice LTD version on 2CD/DVD in limited edition. This particular edition was published in Europe in publishing company Century Media on 5. March 2021.

Instead of getting caught up in the cycle of studio recordings, album releases, and concert cycles, Heaven Shall Burn took a well-deserved break in 2018 and 2019. During this time, they managed to recharge their batteries and, most importantly, gain new impetus. "We decided not to release just one album, but a double album as a conscious statement," explains guitarist Maik Weichert. "We want to give people a truly complete work that offers room for surprises and experimentation. Besides, our fans have had to wait long enough, so it's only fair that after such a long dry spell there's a double helping." The relaxed approach allowed them to work on "Of Truth and Sacrifice" differently than before. Instead of recording the instrumental part first and then the vocals, they worked in parallel in guitarist Alexander Dietz's Chemical Burn studio, which benefited vocalist Marcus Bischoff's vocal performance. He was supported by Chris Harms of Lord Of The Lost, Matthi of Nasty and Andreas Dörner of Caliban, among others. Musically, you can look forward not only to the typical HSB sound, but also to the atmospheric strings, which the band worked on together with Sven Helbig and conductor Wilhelm Keitel and which were recorded at the Grand Opera House in Minsk. For the filming of the almost 90-minute documentary "My Green Heart in Dark Times", Ingo Schmoll accompanied the band for over a year and also searched for clues in their past to understand the phenomenon of Heaven Shall Burn. Of Truth and Sacrifice" is visually enhanced by the impressive artwork of Eliran Kantor (Testament, Iced Earth, Sodom).
