Legendary British singer George Michael releases a new album "Symphonica" after ten long years. As the title suggests, it will not be a classic studio album, but a record that is a kind of memory of the eponymous grand tour that George Michael did in 2011 and 2012. The production of the album was handled by the artist himself, with a lot of help from the legendary Phil Ramon, who also produced the successful albums of Rod Stewart, Paul McCartney, Elton John and Bob Dylan...

"Symphonica" will be available on March 17th in several formats. The basic version will offer a total of fourteen songs, which will also be available for purchase digitally, while the deluxe edition in the form of a bound book will contain three extra tracks. The surprise is the audio Blu-ray release, which promises the purest possible sound...

The album promises a whole host of musical treats, including some absolutely unique cover versions. These include the legendary "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" by Ewan MacColl, a phenomenal rendition of "Idol" from Elton John's repertoire, and a breathtaking version of "Let Her Down Easy" originally by Terence Trent D'Arby.

George Michael is one of Britain's most successful performers. He has sold more than 120 million records in his career to date (both as part of the beloved duo Wham! and as a solo artist) and has become an icon and inspiration to many of his younger colleagues such as Beyoncé, Adele and Justin Timberlake, who cite George Michael as one of their musical role models...
