"Torches" původně vyšlo 23. května 2011 a v roce 2010 skupina využila popularity písně "Pumped Up Kicks" frontmana Marka Fostera k tomu, aby si zajistila nahrávací smlouvu se společností Startime International a napsala album.

Mezi další vydané singly patřily písně "Helena Beat", "Call It What You Want", "Don't Stop (Colour On The Walls)" a "Houdini". Album "Torches", které produkovali Paul Epworth, Rich Costey a Greg Kurstin, je jedním z nejpozoruhodnějších alternativních alb roku 2010. V USA se dostalo na osmé místo v žebříčku Billboard 200 a v Austrálii na první místo v žebříčku ARIA Albums Chart. Bylo také nominováno na cenu Grammy za nejlepší album alternativní hudby.
