Zombie is an album by Nigerian musician Fela Kuti released in 1977. The album is a searing critique of Nigeria's military government, which Kuti considered a dictatorship. The title track "Zombie" is a protest song that attacks the Nigerian military for using "zombies" (i.e. mindless soldiers) to oppress the people. The album was banned in Nigeria and Kuti was arrested and briefly imprisoned.
