A nice box set containing all Warner studio albums from 1972 to 1979 (i.e. until the first break-up of the band and before the reunion after "Hell froze over"). The Eagles are not only representative of the huge success of the California or West Coast sound of the 1970s (after all, the Eagles around Glen Frey and Don Henley sold over 120 million albums worldwide), but are still a permanent fixture in the music business. The solid black box contains the debut, simply christened "Eagles", followed by "Desperado", "On The Border", "One Of These Nights", "Hotel California" and "The Long Run". So plenty of classic songs like "Take It Easy", "Life In The Fast Lane", "Lyin' Eyes", "Take It To The Limit", "Already Gone" and "Hotel California" that are still getting plenty of rotation on radios around the world. They have topped the US singles chart five times, won 6 Grammy Awards and played countless sold out tours around the world.
