While "Communiqué" doesn't contain a hit comparable to "Sultans Of Swing", it is a worthy follow-up.

On their second album "Communiqué", Dire Straits once again brought relaxed rhythms and complex bluesy guitars. Mark Knopfler and his bandmates had already introduced this sound on their debut and built on it seamlessly. Although "Communiqué" doesn't contain a hit comparable to "Sultans of Swing," it is a worthy follow-up.

The remastering for this double LP on 180g 45 RPM vinyl was handled by Krieg Wunderlich, assisted by Shawn R. Britton. The limited edition, serial numbered release comes in a gatefold sleeve.
