Death Cult Armageddon is the sixth studio album by Norwegian black metal band Dimmu Borgir, released in 2003. The album is widely regarded as one of the band's best albums and is praised for its dark, atmospheric sound. Death Cult Armageddon topped the Norwegian album charts and was successful in other countries as well, reaching the top ten in Germany and Sweden. The album's lead single, "Progenies of the Great Apocalypse", became a big hit and the music video for the song was nominated for a Grammy Award.
