Zesílená úzkost, destruktivní městské večírky, dystopie a slizký půvab - jejich rozmanité hudební spektrum sahá od elektrických, bleskurychlých dálnic zábavy, akce a adrenalinu až po temnotu a hluboký černý humor. "Důvod, proč to trvalo tak dlouho, je ten, že jsme si prostě chtěli - a potřebovali - odpočinout po intenzivním koncertování a tak dále, a navíc se objevila pandemie, takže turné byla odložena a s nimi i vydání, takže je to fantastický pocit, že konečně můžeme představit "Everything Destroys You"," říká Nightmare Industries. "'Everything Destroys You' je tváří excesů našich opulentních nocí ve městě. Vždycky píšeme o svých životech a v morku kostí Deathstars není žádná fikce, duchovno ani duše," říká Whiplasher. "Je to jen zjizvený městský život v syrové podobě."
Páté album Deathstars produkovali Nightmare Industries v Black Syndicate ve švédském Stockholmu a mixoval a masteroval Jay Ruston (Stone Sour, Uriah Heep, Anthrax, Steel Panther, Fall Out Boy) v Los Angeles v USA.
Album spans genres Rock, Gothic Metal and Industrial Metal.
