Imaginations from the Other Side is the fourth studio album by German power metal band Blind Guardian . It was released on May 8, 1995 by Virgin Records. The album was recorded at Soundscape Studios in Munich, Germany and was produced by Charlie Bauerfeind. Imaginations from the Other Side is a concept album that tells the story of a young boy who is sent to the other side by a wizard. The album contains the band's longest and most complex song "The Bard's Song (In the Forest)", which runs over 14 minutes.
