Beck, Bogert & Appice bylo super silné trio, které tvořili kytarista Jeff Beck (dříve Yardbirds), baskytarista Tim Bogert a bubeník Carmine Appice (oba dříve Vanilla Fudge a Cactus). Jedním z vrcholů alba je vlastní verze písně "Superstition" od Jeffa Becka. Během natáčení "Talking Book" přišel hostující kytarista Jeff Beck s úvodním rytmem bicích a Stevie Wonder mu řekl, aby hrál dál, zatímco on nad ním improvizoval, což vyústilo v celosvětový superhit. Tato skupina byla pokusem Jeffa Becka o vytvoření power tria, podobně jako Cream a Grand Funk Railroad. Toto úžasné debutové album obsahuje skladby jako "Lady", "Livin' Alone", "Lose Myself With You" a skvělou verzi skladby "Superstition" Stevieho Wondera.

Rockovou superskupinu Beck, Bogert & Appice založil v roce 1972 Jeff Beck a vznikla z Jeff Beck Group. Kromě Becka trio tvořili baskytarista Tim Bogert a bubeník Carmine Appice, kteří spolu předtím hráli ve Vanilla Fudge a Cactus. Vydali pouze jedno studiové album "Beck, Bogert & Appice", které vyšlo v roce 1973 a obsahuje směs (hard)rocku, blues a funku. Album obsahuje Beckovu verzi písně "Superstition", kterou napsal Stevie Wonder. Produkoval ji Don Nix, jedna z neznámějších postav jižanského soulu a rocku, který spolupracoval mimo jiné s Freddiem Kingem a Furrym Lewisem.
