The Tuscan tenor Andrea Bocelli, who has sold more than seventy million albums worldwide to date, gave an extraordinary concert in New York's Central Park on 15 September, where the Italian artist was accompanied by a host of star guests. Céline Dion, Tony Bennett, trumpeter Chris Botti and Canadian musician David Foster rounded out the unique performance. There were also performances by sopranos Ana María Martínez and Pretty Yende, violinist Nicole Benedetti and Bryn Terfel. The icing on the cake was the participation of the Westminster Symphony Choir under the direction of Joe Miller. Andrea presented the most famous hits of his musical career, which have made him probably the most famous tenor of our time! This musical event, with all performers accompanied by the New York Philharmonic, would surely be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for millions of Bocelli fans around the world. That is why this performance is now being released on CD and DVD.
