Adam Mitchel Lambert is an American singer, songwriter and musical theatre artist (Hair, Rocky Horror Picture Show). In 2009, he placed second on the eighth season of American Idol. To date, he has sold more than 5.4 million records. In 2012, he won Billboard.com's poll for the sexiest man in music. In 2018, he appeared as a truck driver and Freddie Mercury's lover in the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody. Live performances of "Queen + Adam Lambert" have included outdoor concerts and tours in Europe, North America, Asia, Russia, as well as Australia and New Zealand, and in 2015 in Europe and South America, where Lambert's song "Ghost Town" was performed live. In December 2014, Roger Meddows-Taylor stated at a press briefing, "After working with the great Adam, we won't be working with anyone else." From June 2017 to July 2018, Queen and Lambert toured the world again, with further shows across Europe scheduled for May to July 2020.
