Echosmith is an American indie pop band formed in February 2009 in Chino, California. Originally composed of siblings Sydney (lead vocals/keyboard), Noah (vocals/bass), Graham (drums), and Jamie Sierota (guitar/vocals), the group achieved mainstream success with their 2013 hit single "Cool Kids," which was part of their debut album "Talking Dreams." The song reached the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was certified double platinum by the RIAA. Following their initial success, Jamie left the band in 2016 to focus on his family, and the band continued as a trio. Echosmith released their second studio album, "Lonely Generation," in January 2020, which showcased their growth in sound and maturity in lyrics. The band is known for their melodic, upbeat music that often deals with themes of identity, belonging, and adolescence.
