Can Can

Can Can

The band formed in Ecuador, in the capital city of Quito in 2002. It started as a trio formed by Denisse Santos as its vocalist, Pato Sánchez on drums and Daniel Pasquel on electric guitar and strings. Can to be invited to play live for Radio Latina de Quito and in that same year they presented their first demo titled with their own name Can Can. After its release Can Can received good reviews from the magazine "Rolling Stone" for its Songs "Vestir Rosado" and "Suerte". After Pato Sánchez left the band, they became part of the group Toño Cepeda on bass, Ernesto Karolys on drums and Andrés Benavides, also the member of Guardarraya, Andrés Caicedo previously on drums, had been part of the band. In 2004 they released their album "Malditos Villanos Pixeleados". During 2005 they toured New York and New Jersey, where they returned in 2006 to record a new promotional called "Hotel" at the SAE New York studios, and in 2007 they released their third production called "Lado C". In 2008 they presented a show with the band Guardarraya at the Teatro Bolívar in Quito, called "Guardacan" where they released their promotional single "UIO" and the live DVD of the "Guardacan" event. They also have their own label called "La Increible Sociedad Del Can" where they produced the videos of the songs "Casi Siempre" and "UIO" being the latter exposed by MTV Can Can is characterized by its stage shows and games of lights with own set design. His fourth production was co-produced with the support of his great friend Californian musician and guitarist Ken Stringfellow, launching in 2010 the promotional "Al Mar" and in 2011 his album "CAOS"
