Vladimir Jurowski is a renowned Russian conductor, born on April 4, 1972, in Moscow. He comes from a prominent family of musicians; his father, Mikhail Jurowski, is also a conductor. Vladimir Jurowski's career has been marked by his work with some of the world's leading orchestras. He has served as the principal conductor of the London Philharmonic Orchestra and has held significant positions with the Russian National Orchestra and the Glyndebourne Festival Opera. Jurowski is known for his broad repertoire, ranging from Baroque to contemporary music, and he has received critical acclaim for his interpretations of Russian music, as well as German and Austrian classical and romantic works.
