SBTRKT, pronounced as "subtract," is the stage name of Aaron Jerome, a British musician and producer known for blending elements of dubstep, R&B, electronica, and UK garage in his music. He emerged in the late 2000s and gained prominence with his self-titled debut album "SBTRKT," released in 2011. The album was well-received for its innovative sound and featured collaborations with artists such as Sampha, who provided vocals on several tracks. SBTRKT is recognized for his distinctive use of tribal masks during performances, which serves to maintain anonymity and place the focus on the music itself.
