Recoil is a musical project created by Alan Wilder, formerly a member of the influential electronic band Depeche Mode. Wilder launched Recoil in 1986 as a side project during his time with Depeche Mode, but it became his main focus after he left the band in 1995. The project's discography includes several albums, among which "Unsound Methods" was released in 1997, followed by "Liquid" in 2000 and "subHuman" in 2007.
