Focus

Dutch progressive rock band

Focus is a Dutch progressive rock band that was formed in Amsterdam in 1969 by keyboardist, flautist, and vocalist Thijs van Leer. The band is known for its unique blend of rock, classical, jazz, and yodeling. They gained international attention with their instrumental track "Hocus Pocus," which featured on their 1971 album "Moving Waves" (also known as "Focus II"). This track became famous for its distinctive guitar riff and quirky vocal expressions, including yodeling by van Leer.
