Warner Classics

The Warner Classics imprint originated from the old Warner Classics International division of the Warner Music Group, before reorganization within the group made it part of Warner Music UK Ltd.. For a few years in the late 2000s, Warner Classics and Warner Jazz were merged to form Warner Classics & Jazz. In 2014, EMI Classics was absorbed into the Warner Classics catalog following the acquisition of the Parlophone Label Group. Virgin Classics was also part of the sale and became part of the revived Erato label. Warner Classics and Erato were both moved to a new location in Paris as part of a reorganized Classics division.
