Soulwax is a Belgian band that originated from Ghent and was formed in the mid-1990s. The group consists of brothers David and Stephen Dewaele, who are also known for their influential work as DJs under the name 2manydjs, as well as their own record label, DEEWEE. Soulwax is recognized for their innovative blend of rock and electronic music, which has garnered them a dedicated following. They first gained international attention with their album "Much Against Everyone's Advice" in 1998, which showcased their ability to merge catchy rock with electronic beats.
