Global Fusion Electro-Pop Duo

Skip & Die is a globally infused electronic music group formed by South African vocalist/visual artist Catarina Aimée Dahms, known as Cata.Pirata, and Dutch musician/producer Jori Collignon. The band's music is characterized by a blend of different styles, including electronica, hip hop, dub, and world music influences. They gained international attention with their debut album "Riots in the Jungle," released in 2012, which was inspired by Cata.Pirata's experiences in South Africa and created during her travels with Collignon. The album received acclaim for its innovative fusion of sounds and its energetic and politically charged content.
