Canadian Alternative R&B Project

Rhye is a musical project that initially began as a duo in 2013, consisting of Canadian singer Michael Milosh and Danish instrumentalist Robin Hannibal. The group quickly became known for their distinctive blend of downtempo, R&B, soul, and soft rock with Milosh's gentle, androgynous vocals being a signature element. Their debut album, "Woman," released in 2013, garnered critical acclaim for its sensual, minimalist soundscapes and was followed by the albums "Blood" in 2018 and "Home" in 2021. Although Robin Hannibal was part of the project during its early stages, he later departed, leaving Milosh as the sole member behind Rhye. Over time, Rhye has become synonymous with Milosh himself, who continues to produce music and tour under the moniker. The project is known for its emotive live performances that often feature a full band to enhance the lush arrangements found in their recordings.
