Alternative Rock Musician and Janes Addiction Frontman

Perry Farrell is an American musician and singer-songwriter, best known as the frontman for the alternative rock band Jane's Addiction. Farrell formed Jane's Addiction in the mid-1980s, and the band quickly became one of the leading acts in alternative rock, with their initial studio albums "Nothing's Shocking" (1988) and "Ritual de lo Habitual" (1990) earning critical acclaim and commercial success. Aside from his work with Jane's Addiction, Farrell created the touring festival Lollapalooza in 1991 as a farewell tour for his band, which has since evolved into an annual destination festival and a significant cultural event.
