Ital Tek is the stage name of Alan Myson, an electronic music producer and composer from Brighton, England. He has been active in the electronic music scene since the mid-2000s. Ital Tek's sound has evolved over time, initially being associated with the dubstep genre but later incorporating elements of IDM, ambient, and footwork into his music. His work is known for its intricate rhythms, emotive melodies, and atmospheric soundscapes. Over the years, Ital Tek has released several albums and EPs on various labels including Planet Mu, a label well-known for its forward-thinking approach to electronic music. His album "Nebula Dance" was released in 2012 and marked a shift towards a more uptempo and rhythmic style compared to his earlier work. With each subsequent release, including "Hollowed" in 2016 and "Bodied" in 2018, Ital Tek has continued to explore new sonic territories, garnering critical acclaim for his innovative approach to electronic music production.
