Golden Earring was a Dutch rock band that achieved international fame with their hit single "Radar Love" in 1973. Formed in The Hague in 1961, the band originally went by the name The Golden Earrings, dropping the 's' in 1969. They were one of the longest-surviving rock groups from the Netherlands, with a career spanning more than five decades. The band consisted of Barry Hay (vocals, guitar, flute), George Kooymans (guitar, vocals), Rinus Gerritsen (bass, keyboard), and Cesar Zuiderwijk (drums). Over the years, they produced a substantial discography that included both studio and live albums.
