Factory Floor

Factory Floor

British industrial electronic band

Factory Floor is a London-based band known for their post-industrial electronic music, which incorporates elements of minimal wave, techno, and noise. The band was formed in 2005 by Gabriel Gurnsey and Mark Harris, who was later replaced by Dominic Butler. Nik Colk Void joined the duo in 2010, completing the lineup that would go on to release their self-titled debut album "Factory Floor" in 2013. Their sound is characterized by hypnotic, repetitive rhythms and a raw, experimental approach to production. They have been associated with the DFA Records label, which is known for its roster of dance-punk and electronic acts. Over the years, Factory Floor has gained a reputation for their powerful live performances and have contributed to the resurgence of interest in analog electronic music. They have continued to evolve their sound with subsequent releases and collaborations.
