Der Plan is a German electronic band, considered one of the pioneers of the genre that came to be known as Neue Deutsche Welle (NDW), which translates to New German Wave. The band was formed in 1979 by Moritz R®, Frank Fenstermacher, and Kurt Dahlke (also known as Pyrolator). They are known for their avant-garde musical style, which combines electronic music with eccentric and often satirical lyrics. Der Plan's music is characterized by its experimental approach, often incorporating unconventional sounds and production techniques.
