Multinational Ethereal Wave Band

Deleyaman is a band founded in 2000 by Aret Madilian, an american multi-instrumentalist. The band consists of Beatrice Valantin, Gerard Madilian. and Mia Bjorlingsson. They’ve released six albums to date while creating a unique sound. Their music is impossible to pigeon hole into a single genre. Their albums have been described as dark wave, art-rock, ethereal, avant-garde, world ambient, mystical, post-punk, post-rock or even neo-folk. Music critics have likened some of the band's earlier work to that of Dead Can Dance. What is sure is that A. Madilian is unable or unwilling to classify their music.
