Change

Italian disco group

Change is an Italian-American post-disco group that was formed in Bologna, Italy, in 1979 by businessman and executive producer Jacques Fred Petrus and Mauro Malavasi. They are best known for their hit singles "A Lover's Holiday," "Paradise," "The Very Best In You," and the classic "The Glow of Love," which featured vocals by a then-unknown Luther Vandross. Change's sound was a blend of soul, R&B, disco, and funk, which was particularly popular during the early 1980s. The band's lineup has changed multiple times throughout its history, with many talented musicians contributing to its evolving sound. Despite the changes in personnel, Change managed to maintain a consistent presence on the dance charts and left a lasting impact on the post-disco era with their groovy basslines and catchy melodies.
