American Post-Punk and Experimental Musician

Blaine L. Reininger is an American musician, composer, and performer, best known for being a co-founder of the avant-garde band Tuxedomoon. Born on July 7, 1953, in Pueblo, Colorado, Reininger moved to San Francisco in the early 1970s where he became involved in the city's experimental music scene. In 1977, he formed Tuxedomoon with Steven Brown and others, and the group quickly became known for their blend of electronic music, punk, new wave, and experimental sounds.
