Alessandro Alessandroni

Italian Composer and Multi-Instrumentalist

Alessandro Alessandroni was an Italian musician and composer known for his versatility and for being one of the most sought-after session musicians during the 1960s and 1970s. Born on March 18, 1925, in Rome, he became famous for his guitar playing, but he was also proficient with a variety of instruments, including the sitar, mandolin, and keyboards. Alessandroni's whistling can be heard on many iconic soundtracks composed by Ennio Morricone, most notably in the Spaghetti Western genre, including the famous theme for "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly."
