In 1992, Replay Records and Pladecompagniet bought Puk Recording Studios. The company went bankrupt in 1993 and was sold to Metronome Records A/S on July 1, 1993.
In 1998, the label was sold to BMG Denmark (now part of Sony Music Entertainment Denmark A/S) in a bigger deal where most of the (other parts of) Danish Metronome corporation was sold to Norwegian Schibsted. Replay Records continued to exist as a subsidiary company until August 5, 2004 when BMG merged with Sony Music.
