Patchwerk Recordings

Former record label of Atlanta based recording facility, established in 1994 and folded in 2007. The label was established by former NFL player Bob Whitfield, in Carson, CA and moved to Atlanta, GA. The label's first signing was Ras Kass, whose first single "Remain AnonymouS" secured him a licensing deal with Priority Records. This gave Whitfield the momentum to build the Patchwerk Recording Studios in Atlanta, GA, which were established in 1995. Having also released records by the likes of Vooodu, Meen Green and Jatis, Patchwerk Recordings is no longer functioning as a record label, but strictly as a commercial recording facility, offering recording and production, as well as mixing and mastering services.
