Zoxea

Zoxea

French rapper and hip-hop artist

French rapper, born on November 11, 1974 in Sèvres, Hauts-de-Seine, and raised in the Castéja Projects of Boulogne-Billancourt in the suburb of Paris. One of the three members of Les Sages Poetes De La Rue along with his brother Melopheelo, and Dany Dan. Zoxea took advantage of the group's success to launch his solo career, collaborating with Busta Flex on his eponymous album, to produce the hit "J’fais mon job à plein temps". Taking part in the Freestyle Sessions with Suprême NTM, Zoxea supported them live on stage during the national "93 Party" tour, which lead up to the IV My People crew, comprising of Kool Shen, Busta Flex and himself. In February 1999, Zoxea releases his first album solo : À mon tour d’briller. The album went gold by the end of the year, with guest appearances from the likes of Beat 2 Boul, Don Choa, Lord Kossity, Melopheelo and Kool Shen. Zoxea and his brother Melopheelo form their own label: KDBZIK in 2003, to preserve their independent spirit, and released Zoxea’s second solo album "Dans la Lumière" the following year.
