Canadian Experimental Pop Band

Weaves is an indie rock band from Toronto, Canada, formed in 2013. The group consists of vocalist Jasmyn Burke, guitarist Morgan Waters, drummer Spencer Cole, and bassist Zach Bines. They quickly gained attention for their blend of art rock, punk, and pop elements, along with Burke's distinctive vocal style. Weaves released their self-titled debut album in 2016 to critical acclaim, earning them a spot on the shortlist for the 2017 Polaris Music Prize, which honors the best full-length Canadian album based on artistic merit. Following their successful debut, they released their sophomore album "Wide Open" in 2017. The band has been praised for its energetic live performances and has toured internationally, showcasing their innovative sound to a growing fanbase.
