Vio-Lence is an American thrash metal band formed in 1985 in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. They are known for their intense, aggressive style and are considered part of the second wave of thrash metal bands that emerged in the mid-to-late 1980s. The band's original lineup consisted of vocalist Sean Killian, guitarists Phil Demmel and Robb Flynn, bassist Dean Dell, and drummer Perry Strickland. Vio-Lence gained attention with their debut album "Eternal Nightmare," released in 1988, which has since become a classic in the thrash metal genre due to its raw energy and intricate guitar work.
