Vamp

Vamp

Vamp is a German hard rock band formed in the mid-1980s. They gained some recognition in the rock scene with their debut album "The Rich Don't Rock," which was released in 1989. The band's music style combined elements of glam metal and hard rock, which was popular during that era. Despite their potential and the quality of their music, Vamp did not achieve significant commercial success and remained relatively obscure, especially outside of Europe. The band's lineup included Tom Bellini as the lead vocalist, Ricolf Cross as the guitarist, Oliver Scholz on bass, and Dicki Fliszar on drums. After their initial foray into the music scene, Vamp's activity and subsequent releases became limited, and they eventually faded from the spotlight. Their career highlights are often associated with the period surrounding the release of "The Rich Don't Rock," which remains a notable work among fans of the 80s hard rock genre.
