1960s British pop rock group

Unit Four Plus Two was a British pop band that was formed in 1963. The group originally started as a folk-based act with members Brian Parker (who was also the main songwriter), Tommy Moeller, Peter Moules, and David Meikle. The "Plus Two" part of their name referred to session musicians Russ Ballard and Bob Henrit, who later joined the band officially. They are best known for their 1965 hit "Concrete and Clay," which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart and also charted in the United States.
