Time Requiem is a neoclassical power metal band that was formed in Sweden in the early 2000s. The band was created by keyboardist Richard Andersson after his departure from the band Majestic. Time Requiem's music is characterized by its blend of classical music influences with heavy metal, featuring complex keyboard solos and powerful vocals. The band's debut self-titled album, "Time Requiem," was released in 2002, showcasing their technical proficiency and compositional skills. They followed up with "The Inner Circle of Reality" in 2004, further establishing their presence in the metal scene. In 2006, they released "Optical Illusion," which continued to build on their signature sound. Despite not being as widely known as some of their contemporaries, Time Requiem has garnered a dedicated following among fans of the neoclassical metal genre.
