Till Fellner is an Austrian classical pianist known for his thoughtful and technically refined style of playing. Born on March 9, 1972, in Vienna, he began learning piano at a young age and later studied at the Konservatorium der Stadt Wien under Helene Sedo-Stadler. He gained international recognition after winning first prize at the Clara Haskil International Piano Competition in 1993. Fellner has performed with many of the world's leading orchestras and has worked with esteemed conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Bernard Haitink, and Kent Nagano. His repertoire ranges from Baroque to contemporary music, with a particular emphasis on the works of classical and romantic composers. Fellner is also known for his performances of Bach's "Das Wohltemperierte Klavier," which he has recorded and played in concert series around the globe. His discography includes recordings of Beethoven's piano concertos, solo works by Schubert, and chamber music by Schumann, reflecting his broad musical interests and expertise.
