Steve Marriott

Steve Marriott

British Rock and Blues Musician

Steve Marriott was an influential English musician, songwriter, and frontman of two notable rock bands: Small Faces and Humble Pie. Born on January 30, 1947, in London, Marriott began his career as a child actor before transitioning to music. He first gained fame in the mid-1960s with Small Faces, which was part of the Mod movement and known for hits like "Itchycoo Park" and "All or Nothing." After the group disbanded in 1969, Marriott formed Humble Pie with guitarist Peter Frampton, where they achieved success with a harder rock sound and albums like "Rock On" and "Performance Rockin' the Fillmore."
