Spazz

Spazz

Spazz was an influential American powerviolence band, active primarily in the 1990s. The band was known for their extremely fast and intense style, a blend of hardcore punk and thrashcore, characterized by their use of blast beats, breakdowns, and humorous samples. Spazz consisted of members Chris Dodge (bass/vocals), Dan Lactose (guitar/vocals), and Max Ward (drums). They were based in the San Francisco Bay Area and were pivotal in the development of the powerviolence subgenre, which is a high-speed offshoot of hardcore punk.
