Sorhin was a Swedish black metal band that emerged in the early 1990s. The group was known for its raw and melodic style, which was characteristic of the Swedish black metal scene at the time. Throughout their career, Sorhin released several albums and demos that contributed to their status within the underground metal community. Their work includes "Skogsgriftens Rike" (1996), an EP that helped establish their presence, and full-length albums such as "I Det Glimrande Mörkrets Djup" (1997) and "Apokalypsens Ängel" (2000), which showcased their evolution in sound and complexity. Despite not achieving mainstream success, Sorhin maintained a cult following and is often remembered for their contributions to the genre before they disbanded. Their lyrical themes often revolved around Satanism, darkness, and anti-Christian sentiments, which are typical of black metal music.
