Skids

Skids

Scottish punk rock band

Skids are a Scottish punk rock and new wave band, formed in Dunfermline, Fife, in 1977 by Stuart Adamson (guitar, keyboards, percussion), Richard Jobson (vocals, guitar), Bill Simpson (bass guitar), and Tom Kellichan (drums). They are best known for their 1979 hit single "Into the Valley" and the album "Scared to Dance," which was their debut studio album. The band's music combined punk rock with elements of post-punk and new wave.
