Simon Callaghan is a British classical pianist and chamber musician known for his wide-ranging repertoire and particular interest in championing lesser-known works alongside the standard canon. He has performed extensively throughout the UK, Europe, Asia, and North America, and has appeared at major venues including London's Wigmore Hall, Royal Festival Hall, and the Purcell Room. Callaghan's discography includes recordings of solo piano works, chamber music, and concertos. He is also the Director of Music at Conway Hall in London, where he oversees one of the longest-running chamber music concert series in Europe. In addition to his performance career, Simon Callaghan is active as a teacher and gives masterclasses, adjudications, and educational workshops. His contributions to classical music extend beyond performance to include research and publication on lesser-known composers and works.
