Sakis Tolis is a Greek musician and producer best known as the frontman, guitarist, and primary songwriter for the black metal band Rotting Christ. Formed in 1987, Rotting Christ is one of the pioneering bands in the Greek extreme metal scene and has gained international recognition for their unique blend of black metal with elements of folk and gothic music. Sakis Tolis, alongside his brother Themis Tolis who plays drums, has been the core of the band since its inception. Throughout his career with Rotting Christ, Sakis has been instrumental in shaping the band's sound and direction, contributing to numerous albums that have been influential within the metal genre. The band's discography includes critically acclaimed albums such as "Thy Mighty Contract" (1993), "Triarchy of the Lost Lovers" (1996), and "Theogonia" (2007).
