Saint Gallus Convention Tapes

Saint Gallus Convention Tapes

Emerging Folk Rock Ensemble

Saint Gallus Convention Tapes is a Dortmund, Germany based quartet mixing the sounds of British blues and Texas psychedelia of the 60s with contemporary stoner rock. The band started in 2017 as a jam project by Blind Joe Black alias Stefan Schlensag (guitars, blues harp, vocals), Florian Grass (drums), Kevin Krenczer (bass guitar) and Tonia Goehlich (vocals). Joe Black was guitarist, harp player and songwriter of German garage group The Hipsters (3) during the late 1980s. The band first appeared on the soundtrack of "Valley of the Leftovers" by Eike Weinreich, released on cosirecords in 2018. Their first album Files Vol. 01 was released on Wonderlamp Records in July 2020.
